My First Computer and the Comparison
Between the Computers of Today
My first personal computer was a Hewlett Packard Pavilion 700 series. It had an Intel Inside Celeron processor with a speed of 700 MHz. My computer’s operating system was a Windows Millennium Edition (Windows ME). It included Internet Explorer 6, Windows Media Player 7, and Windows Movie Maker. The games included were Internet Backgammon, Internet Checkers, Internet Hearts, Internet Reversi, Internet Spades, Spider Solitaire, and Pinball.
My computer is almost prehistoric compared to the latest technology. MSI (Micro-Star International) has launched its new flagship touchscreen all-in-one PC, the Wind Top AE2220. The system has a 21.5" 1920x1080 multitouch display, the choice between an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz or a Pentium dual-core 2.1GHz CPU, 4GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM, an Nvidia ION chipset, and a 500GB HDD.
